One of the greatest future events is the coming of 144 Thousand – These 144 Thousand have a special mission – not just to come to the earth – They are great High Priests – who will have the power of god in their hearts and in their heads and in their hands – to do what? Several things – listen to the following – Thrash the nations of this earth – to let all people every where that God is in charge with his angels – with his 144 Thousand – with Jesus Christ and his saints – with his chosen Church and with others we don’t even know of yet!
1 – Bring as many as they can to the Church of the first born – not just to the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints – to go through the temples yes but to get these celestial beings to the Church of the first born.
11 Q. What are we to understand by sealing the aone hundred and forty-four thousand, out of all the tribes of Israel—twelve thousand out of every tribe?A. We are to understand that those who are sealed are bhigh priests, ordained unto the holy order of God, to administer the everlasting gospel; for they are they who are ordained out of every nation, kindred, tongue, and people, by the angels to whom is given power over the nations of the earth, to bring as many as will come to the church of the cFirstborn.
These people will be caught up and blessed to come down and go to work with Jesus Christ – be part of the church of the first born.

54 They are they who are the church of the Firstborn.
67 These are they who have come to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of Enoch, and of the Firstborn.
71 And again, we saw the terrestrial world, and behold and lo, these are they who are of the terrestrial, whose glory differs from that of the church of the Firstborn who have received the fulness of the Father, even as that of the moon differs from the sun in the firmament.
102 Last of all, these all are they who will not be gathered with the saints, to be caught up unto the church of the Firstborn, and received into the cloud.Jesus Christ, Firstborn
They are special group of people – they maybe able to visit and with with the people of Enoch and also others of this higher order of righteousness..
The idea that they will just be the only group to be caught up is false – many more will join this group of 144,000 – high priests – we just don’t know how many but we do know that they will be called and chosen out of all nations!
2 – the 144,000 will thrash the nations of this earth and more than likely do other things with members, missionaries, and other groups – these things may or maynot be revealed – what is sure – it that these men will do a job that mortals can not do – showing the greater power of God and Jesus Christ!

These signs are all part of the Hand of God and the Power of Jesus Christ – they are in charge and that will be shown more and more as time moves towards the great second coming!
Note that there are a lot more than 144,000 that will be caught up to meet Jesus Christ – who knows how many will be resurrected at his coming and how many will be caught up that are living – let alone those gathered by 144,000 high priests – no one knows a number – not in the scriptures and not in modern revelation – again no one knows – it’s not important!
But these 144,000 high priests are important and so is their mission to bring others to the Church of the Firstborn! It’s talked about in revelations, in the old testament and in modern scriptures – it’s that important!
Now remember as far as latter day saints know – Christ and other high angels ore beings are in charge of these 144,000 high priests, in fact scriptural – we are not fully aware who directs this group besides god or Christ but they do have individuals they report to – you can be sure of that! ( Who they report to is not important – the important thing is that they have a major work to do and modern scriptures tells us it’s to collect and gather people to the Church of the first born – this group of members maybe spread with Enoch and his city and they may also be in the city of New Jerusalem – as well as other places – don’t be tricked by details that are not important – so you can increase your faith in modern prophets or scriptures…
