When you combine Godliness and Charity – you combine the best of MAN and GOD… Look at Mary the Mother of Jesus and Heavenly Father..
Mary offered her body to bring birth to Christ – The Father offered Godliness to Christ – that all mankind might be saved… Through Mary – Christ had the Mortality to Die – Through the Father Christ had the Power to live forever…
These seemingly impossible opposites offered mankind a perfect gift…
The Father – tapped into a Godliness – Christ was a God before he came here – the only Begotten of the Father – an unchangeable being willing to follow the Father in all things, even die for man, suffer for man, and pay the price of all sin – with it’s suffering – both in the Garden and sweat blood because of the pain – also hang and die on the Cross – to give up the Ghost!
Christ would satisfy the demands of Just – where no sinful being could do anything for another… but Christ did not sin – there fore he could pay a price that no other could pay – he through his GODLINESS – to bare and suffer as no man could without dying! ( In the Garden – an angel strengthened him ).
On the Cross he could finish this process alone – and ask why the Father had to forsake him? Christ by the spirit knew the work was finished and offered up his spirit – and gave up the Ghost – and said – it is finished!
So a Mortal woman would provide a son as a sacrifice for mankind – all of mankind – and a God would be offered in at least two places – so the suffering would be complete and satisfy the demands of sin, of suffering and justice – so mercy could be offered for mankind…
This kind of Love is greater than we can understand but this commitment and sacrifice was enough to pay a terrible price – a God had to offered for a sinful world – living and dead – for all who had dyed and all who would ever live… Father forgive them – they know not what they do!
Such love – such suffering – such grace and mercy – can you understand any part of it? The following video – just might give us a little understanding..
