Soon Working with Christ

Christ – his servants – his church and the world will be changed for the better… Get ready for a much better world after a short bumpy ride – in fact – Christ will help us get through that ride – are you ready – let’s work with Christ!

Working with Christ is going to Happen sooner than most of us think – it’s literally a few years a way – give or take a 2-3 years – okay before end of 2023 I hope… the point is how is working with Jesus Christ going to be like?

The time is coming that more and more of us will understand how working with Christ is really like – or working with his authorized servants – it will be better for the whole world!

We get some clues from the Scriptures and from Modern Prophets…

Let’s start with Modern Prophets –

From the very beginning, the Lord commanded Adam to till the earth and have dominion over the beasts of the field, to eat his bread by the sweat of his brow. I have always been interested in how often the scriptures have admonished us to cease to be idle and to be productive in all of our labors. … Teaching children the joy of honest labor is one of the greatest of all gifts you can bestow upon them.”

Apostle –

To this day, I am deeply impressed by the way my family worked after having lost everything following World War II! I remember my father—a civil servant by education and experience—taking on several difficult jobs, among which were coal miner, uranium miner, mechanic, and truck driver. He left early in the morning and often returned late at night in order to support our family. My mother started a laundry service and worked countless hours doing menial labor. She enlisted my sister and me in her business. With my bike I became the pickup and delivery service. It felt good to be able to help the family in a small way, and though I did not know it at the time, the physical labor turned out to be a blessing to my health as well.”

Now to look at the Scriptures

• The Lord will render to every man according to his works, Prov. 24:12.
• ( What we do will be reflected in several ways – in our judgement – in our character and in our rewards – physical – spiritual and eternal. )

• Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, Matt. 5:16 (3 Ne. 12:16).
• ( Christ went about doing good and we should too – do the things we have seen him do..
• He that doeth the will of my Father shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, Matt. 7:21.
• ( Do we know – really know and understand the will of Heavenly Father? )
• Faith without works is dead, James 2:14–26.
• ( It’s easy to talk a good sermon – but to live a truly Christ like life and works… )

• They must be judged of their works, 1 Ne. 15:32 (Mosiah 3:24).
• ( Can we pick and choose which works will be judged? By God? No – they all will be brought under judgement. )
• We know that it is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do, 2 Ne. 25:23.
• ( If it’s by grace alone we are saved – why did James talk so much about works? )
• Teach them to never be weary of good works, Alma 37:34.
• What can we show them ( our Children ) both in actions – and in words – and in emotions and deeds – that work is a great blessing to be used to bless ourselves and others…
